Flat roofs are complex. Before renovation begins, we need some initial information. Everything follows a sequence and a system. Every roof needs maintenance and repairs over time, and a complete renovation when it reaches the end of its service life.

Why does the roof need renovation?

The most common reasons for flat roof renovation are poorly executed details, material degradation and defects in individual roof layers. These often cause unwanted leaks. Other reasons include inadequate thermal performance, a change in roof use or structural requirements.

The on-site inspection provides detailed information for the technical design. This treats the roof as a whole and considers adjoining structures. It is based on the actual condition and resolves the details.

In 98% of cases, however, the old covering is retained and a new waterproofing layer is installed without dismantling it.

An approach suited to the roof

In some cases, the old roof covering must be removed before a new one can be installed.

Where necessary, we perforate and level the old covering before applying the new waterproofing layer.

Another option is to replace the waterproofing and add thermal insulation.

The renovation restores the waterproofing, structural and thermal performance of your roof.
