EPDM membranes

EPDM is a synthetic rubber waterproofing membrane with properties similar to natural rubber. With correct installation, the source material describes a service life of up to 50 years in our climate and elongation of more than 300%, allowing it to accommodate building movement and temperature changes.

It retains its physical properties for decades. Large sheets make installation quick, while drawbacks include a higher price, demanding joint work and the need for specialist tapes, adhesives and accessories.
